Original Belgian 14 1/2 inch x 19 1/2 inch Poster for the 1942 Robert Stevenson Wartime Romance JOAN OF PARIS, from a story by Jacques Théry & Georges Kessel and starring Michèle Morgan, Paul Henreid, Thomas Mitchell, Laird Cregar, May Robson and Alan Ladd.

RKO Studios gave Alan Ladd his big chance as one of the shot-down RAF flyers Parisian barmaid Morgan helps to escape from the Nazis. Morgan gives a moving performance in her American debut, and it’s also a first American film for Henreid as the Free French airman she sacrifices her life for.

The poster is in very good folded condition. There are corner pinholes and a tax stamp at centre right. As with many vintage Belgian posters the top border has been trimmed off.
