Original U.S. 40 inch x 60 inch Poster for the 1976 Elia Kazan Drama THE LAST TYCOON, based on the novel by F. Scott Fitzgerald and starring Robert De Niro, Robert Mitchum, Tony Curtis, Jeanne Moreau, Jack Nicholson, Theresa Russell, Ingrid Boulting, Donald Pleasence, Ray Milland, Dana Andrews and John Carradine.
In this adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s final, unfinished novel, Monroe Stahr (De Niro) is a legendary hollywood producer hailed as a “boy genius” during the studio system of 1930s Hollywood. Stahr blithely contends with neurotic stars (Curtis, Moreau), a union organizer (Nicholson), his adversary (Mitchum), a difficult writer (Pleasence), and his mysterious girlfriend (Boulting), but his relentless micromanaging may be his undoing.
The poster is in very good unfolded (rolled) condition with a 1/2 inch slit in the left border.
