Original 1949 German 23 inch x 33 inch Poster for the 1940 Leonide Moguy French Drama L’EMPREINTE DU DIEU (THE FOOTPRINT OF THE GOD)(TWO WOMEN), based on the novel by Maxence Van der Meersch and starring Pierre Blanchar, Annie Ducaux, Blanchette Brunoy, Jacques Dumesnil, Ginette Leclerc, Pierre Larquey, Héléna Manson, Maximilienne, Marguerite Pierry, Arthur Devère, Paul Escoffier, Maurice Marceau, René Lacourt, Georges Paulais, Albert Malbert and Gabrielle Fontan.

In Bruges, two sisters, Karelina and Wilfrida, have just got married. But the elder, brutalized by her husband, takes refuge with her younger daughter.

The poster is in good to very good folded condition. There is separation along the lower third of the vertical fold and separation in the right edges of the horizontal fold and some tiny paper loss at the crossfolds.
