Marguerite Duras was one of the leading intellectuals of post-war France as a novelist, playwright, screenwriter, essayist, and experimental filmmaker. Her script for the film Hiroshima mon amour (1959) earned her a nomination for Best Original Screenplay at the Academy Awards.

The still is in very good condition with a fine crease in the upper right corner.
