MARION DAVIES CIRCUS COSTUME PARTY
£260.00
Original 1937 10 inch x 8 inch Still of IRENE DUNNE, WALTER WINCHELL & LOUELLA PARSONS at Marion Davies’ circus costume party.
Walter Winchell was the most powerful and feared gossip columnist and radio commentator in America in the 1930s and 1940s.
Louella Parsons became a syndicated Hollywood columnist for William Randolph Hearst, so her “Los Angeles Examiner” column appeared in over six hundred newspapers the world over and made her one of the most powerful voices in the movie business.
The party was held at William Randolph Hearst’s “Ocean House”, a spectacular 34 bedroom Georgian mansion on the Pacific Coast Highway in Santa Monica, California, that Hearst built specifically for Davies.
The still is in good to very good condition with a crease in the upper left corner.
