Monsieur Hulot comes to a beachside hotel for a vacation and accidentally, but good-naturedly, causes havoc.
Poster art Ernst Herbert Adolf Litter (1918 – 2006). Born in Berlin, Litter was a German painter and graphic artist. His most famous works were created in the 1940s to 1960s. With around 600 designed film posters, he is considered one of the most productive poster graphic artists of his time. He began an apprenticeship as a printer in 1933 and attended the Berlin School of Applied Arts, where he was a student of Jupp Wiertz. In 1946 he began to create posters, advertisements and catalogues for Schorcht-Film. He has worked for various film companies including Herzog Film, Gloriafilm, Berliner Union-Film, Columbia Pictures, Constantin Film, Prisma Film and Atlas Film
The poster is in good to very good folded condition some writing on the back that slightly bleeds through to the front at centre and there are some pinholes around the edges.
