Original Italian 55 inch x 78 inch 4-Fogli Poster for the 1979 Bob Clark Mystery MURDER BY DECREE, based on characters created by Arthur Conan Doyle and starring Christopher Plummer, James Mason, David Hemmings, Susan Clark, Anthony Quayle, John Gielgud, Frank Finlay, Donald Sutherland and Geneviève Bujold.

Sherlock Holmes is drawn into the case of Jack the Ripper who is killing prostitutes in London’s East End. Assisted by Dr. Watson, and using information provided by a renowned psychic, Robert Lees, Holmes finds that the murders may have its roots in a Royal indiscretion and that a cover-up is being managed by politicians at the highest level, all of whom happen to be Masons.

Poster art by Lawrence Noble. He was born in Tampa, Florida in 1948 and raised and educated in Houston, Texas now residing in Berkeley, California. He is the owner of Noble Studio, a company founded in 1973, that specializes in design and sculpture.
