Original circa 1914 12 1/8 inch x 9 1/2 inch Etching titled THE NEW ARRIVAL.

Three children inspecting the new baby held in the loving arms of their grandmother.

Etched by William Brasse Hole (1846 – 1917). A Scottish landscape etcher and painter. As an etcher, he was equally adept at landscape studies, historical depictions, architectural views, genre scenes and portraits, both after his own designs and those of his fellow Scottish artists.

After Hugh Cameron (1822 – 1899). Cameron became best known for his genre scenes, particularly scenes of Scottish life.
