Original British 11 3/4 inch x 8 3/4 inch Poster for the 1928 John Francis Dillon Drama THE NOOSE, based on the play by Willard Mack and starring Richard Barthelmess, Montagu Love, Robert Emmett O’Connor, Jay Eaton, Lina Basquette, Thelma Todd and Alice Joyce.

A young bootlegger is told by a gangster whom he believes to be his father that his mother is the Governor’s wife. The boy kills the Gangster and his mother saves him when he is sentenced to death.
