Delderfield and starring Janette Scott, Vernon Gray, Jack Warner, Kay Walsh, Charles Victor, Marjorie Rhodes, Pamela Brown, David Kossoff, Hattie Jacques, Ronald Squire, Wilfrid Lawson, Sonia Dresdel, Moultrie Kelsall, Guy Middleton, Michael Pertwee, Henry Hewitt, Bryan Forbes, Harold Goodwin and Brian Wilde.

Scott stars as Janette Grant, a young schoolgirl who, after falling for Mike (Gray), a young car mechanic who her mother doesn’t approve of, is told to break up her relationship or be sent to Canada.
