Original French 47 inch x 63 inch Poster for the 1976 Clint Eastwood Western THE OUTLAW JOSEY WALES, based on the book “Gone To Texas” by Forrest Carter and starring Clint Eastwood, Chief Dan George, Sondra Locke, Bill McKinney, John Vernon, Paula Trueman, Sam Bottoms, Geraldine Keams, Woodrow Parfrey, Joyce Jameson, Sheb Wooley, Royal Dano, John Quade, Doug McGrath, John Mitchum, Kyle Eastwood and Cissy Wellman.

After avenging his family’s brutal murder, Wales is pursued by a pack of soldiers. He prefers to travel alone, but ragtag outcasts are drawn to him – and Wales can’t bring himself to leave them unprotected.

Poster art by Roy Andersen (1930 – 2019). Known as a western painter, Roy Andersen did paintings of Crow, Cheyenne, and Apache Indians. He began his career living in Chicago and New York and working as an illustrator. He did numerous covers for Time Magazine including portraits of Albert Einstein and Prince Fahd.

The poster is in very good folded condition.
