Original British 17 inch x 11 inch Double-Sided Trade Advertisement from Kinematograph Weekly for the 1954 Roy Del Ruth Horror Movie PHANTOM OF THE RUE MORGUE, based on the story “The Murders in the Rue Morgue” by Edgar Allan Poe and starring Karl Malden, Claude Dauphin, Patricia Medina, Steve Forrest, Allyn Ann McLerie, Anthony Caruso and Erin O’Brien-Moore.

This big-budget remake of 1932’s Murders in the Rue Morgue was originally shown in 3-D and tells the grim tale of how a mad zookeeper and his murderous, thieving monkey terrorized Parisians in the early 1900s.

On the reverse is the 11 inch x 8 1/2 inch Trade Advertisement for the 1953 James Algar Walt Disney Documentary THE LIVING DESERT.

Although first glance reveals little more than stones and sand, the desert is alive. Witness moving rocks, spitting mud pots, gorgeous flowers and the never-ending battle for survival between creatures of every shape, size and description.

Plus the 11 inch x 8 1/2 inch Trade Advertisement for the 1954 Fred F. Sears Film Noir THE MIAMI STORY starring Barry Sullivan, Luther Adler, John Baer and Adele Jergens.

Fed up with the raising crime in Miami, the police chief and the leading members of the city council hire a former Miami gangster, gone straight, to help eliminate the biggest crime syndicate in the city.
