Original British 20 inch x 30 inch Double Crown Poster for the 1971 Harry Hurwitz Fantasy THE PROJECTIONIST starring Chuck McCann, Ina Balin and Rodney Dangerfield.

This offbeat comedy finds a rotund, daydreaming projectionist (Chuck McCann) who fantasizes that he is the super hero Captain Flash. He imagines his nemesis to be Renaldi (Rodney Dangerfield), whom the projectionist refers to as “the Bat.” The film employed the use of superimposition of older motion pictures, the first time such techniques were used. The film clips incorporated were scenes from Gone with the Wind, Citizen Kane, Fort Apache, The Birth of a Nation, Casablanca, Gunga Din, Sergeant York, The Maltese Falcon and Barbarella.
