PUMPKIN EATER

Original 11 inch x 14 inch Still of ANNE BANCROFT, HAROLD PINTER & JACK CLAYTON discuss a scene in the 1964 Jack Clayton Drama THE PUMPKIN EATER, based on the novel by Penelope Mortimer and scripted by Harold Pinter.

Bancroft gets into the voice and under the skin of the well-to-do Englishwoman who leaves her second husband for screenwriter Peter Finch. But Finch is unfaithful and Bancroft has a breakdown after her eighth child is born.

The still is in very good condition. There are very light brown stains around the edges, only really visible in the top right corner.
