Original 10 inch by 8 inch Still of ANNA KARINA in the 1966 Jacques Rivette Drama LA RELIGIEUSE (THE NUN), based on the novel by Denis Diderot.

In eighteenth-century France, a girl is forced against her will to take vows as a nun. Three mothers superior treat her in radically different ways, ranging from maternal concern, to sadistic persecution, to lesbian desire. The film was nominated for a Palme d’Or at the 1966 Cannes Film Festival.

The still is in very good condition with a cast list tacked to the reverse.
