5 Original British 10 inch x 8 inch Front-of-House Stills (Lobby Cards) for the 1952 Jack Raymond Comedy RELUCTANT HEROES, based on the play by Colin Morris and starring Ronald Shiner, Derek Farr, Brian Rix, Larry Noble, Anthony Baird and Colin Morris.
The play, which had premiered at the Whitehall Theatre the previous year, was the first of the Brian Rix company’s Whitehall farces.
The stills are in good to very good condition. 4 have a horizontal at the edge of the top border. There are other creases and corner pinholes. On the reverse of each still is a stamp for “Girosign” Ltd. and a serial number. Girosign were an independent company that sold the Front-of-House Stills in sets of 6 rather than the standard set of 8.
