Original British 11 inch x 17 inch Trade Advert from Kinematograph Weekly for the 1950 Bernard Knowles Drama THE RELUCTANT WIDOW, based on the novel by Georgette Heyer and starring Jean Kent, Guy Rolfe, Paul Dupuis, Lana Morris, Katghleen Byron, Peter Hammond, Jean Cadell, Andrew Cruickshank, Ralph Truman and Allan Jeayes.
An English governess marries a complete stranger while he is on his deathbed. After he dies, she inherits his estate but is soon involved with some French spies working for Napoleon. At the same time, she finds herself attracted to her late husband’s cousin.
The advert is in very good condition with one vertical centre fold and 2 slightly worn staple holes along it.
