Original Russian 23 inch x 32 inch Poster for the 1953 László Ranódy & Kálmán Nádasdy Historical Drama about the Hungarian revolution of 1848 THE RISING SEA (FOLTAMADOTT A TENGER), based on the novel “Két férfi (Two Men)” by Gyula Illyés and starring János Görbe as national poet and liberal revolutionary Petõfi Sándor, Zoltán Makláry and Lajos Básti as Kossuth Lajos a Hungarian lawyer, journalist, politician and Regent-President of the Kingdom of Hungary during the revolution of 1848–49.
