The Road to Happiness is a long journey for opera singer Jeff Carter. His wife has divorced him, he has no money to give his son, Danny, the life he would like and the prospects for work look bleak. When Jeff gets the opportunity to be a radio actor he takes it, but only to make money to support his son. However, this proves to be the first step down the road for Jeff to make his dreams come true.
