Original 13 inch x 10 inch Black and White Portrait of NORMA SHEARER & LESLIE HOWARD in the 1936 George Cukor Romance ROMEO AND JULIET, based on the play by William Shakespeare.
The Portrait was taken by MGM Photographer Clarence Sinclair Bull.
When Goldwyn merged with Metro in 1924 Clarence Sinclair Bull became head of the stills department and stayed there for over 40 years.
The portrait, on doubleweight paper, is in very good condition with the photographer’s rubber stamp on the reverse. There is some age browning. There are 1 or 2 minor surface marks.
