A sailor is nearly frightened off marriage by the domineering habits of his future mother in law. Thora Hird appears as Mrs. Lack a nosey neighbour.
Thora Hird (1911 – 2003) made her screen debut opposite Will Hay in “The Black Sheep of Whitehall” (1941) and went on to appear in over 100 films.
The portrait is in very good condition.
