June Elvin (1924 – 2019) was born in Wandsworth, London, as June Elvin Gomersall. She was an actress who signed to Ealing Studios shortly after the Second World War and appeared in Nicholas Nickleby as Miss Snevellicci in 1947 before joining the Company of Youth – the celebrated “Rank Charm School”.
The portrait is in very good condition with a note tacked to the reverse.
