3 Original U.S. 11 inch x 14 inch Lobby Cards for the 1968 Michael Anderson Drama THE SHOES OF THE FISHERMAN, based on the novel by Morris West and starring Anthony Quinn, Laurence Olivier, Oskar Werner, David Janssen, Vittorio De Sica, Leo McKern, John Gielgud, Barbara Jefford, Rosemary Dexter, Frank Finlay, Burt Kwouk, Arnoldo Foà, Paul Rogers, George Pravda, Clive Revill, Niall MacGinnis, Marne Maitland, Isa Miranda, Gerald Harper, Leopoldo Trieste, Peter Copley, Arthur Howard and Jean Rougeul.

After spending decades in a Siberian Gulag labor camp, Roman Catholic priest Kiril Lakota (Quinn) is set free by Russian leader Piotr Ilyich Kamenev (Olivier) at the height of the Cold War, when Russia and China are locked in a tense conflict. Following the death of the pope (Gielgud), Lakota ends up on the global stage when he is chosen to be his successor. As the pope, the humble Lakota becomes a compassionate advocate for ending world hunger and poverty.

The cards are in very good condition. Card #8 has corner and edge pinholes.
