Original 10 inch x 8 inch Black and White Portrait of JOHN CLEMENTS in the 1958 William Fairchild War Film THE SILENT ENEMY.
Based on Marshall Pugh’s book “Commander Crabb”, it was made following the publicity created by Crabb’s mysterious disappearance and likely death during a Cold War incident a year earlier.
Portrait by Ray Hearne (1948 – 1979) with his stamp on the reverse. Hearne worked in the film industry as a cinematographer and other roles within the camera and electrical department.
The portrait is in very good condition.
