Original 10 inch x 8 inch Black and White Still of WILLIAM FAIRCHILD & IAN WHITTAKER discussing a scene for the 1958 William Fairchild War Film THE SILENT ENEMY.
Based on Marshall Pugh’s book “Commander Crabb”, it was made following the publicity created by Crabb’s mysterious disappearance and likely death during a Cold War incident a year earlier.
Still by Ray Hearne (1948 – 1979). Hearne worked in the film industry as a cinematographer and other roles within the camera and electrical department.
The still is in very good condition with minor surface marks.
