Original 1955 British 11 inch x 8 1/2 inch Trade Advertisement from Kinematograph Weekly for the 1954 Richard Quine Musical Comedy SO THIS IS PARIS starring Tony Curtis, Gloria DeHaven, Gene Nelson, Corinne Calvet, Mara Corday and Paul Gilbert.
Tony Curtis makes his musical-comedy debut in the frolicsome Universal production So This is Paris. Curtis, Gene Nelson and Paul Gilbert play three American sailors on leave in the City of Light. In record time, the trio makes the acquaintance of three lovely lasses: Gloria de Haven, Corinne Calvert and Mara Corday.
The advert art is by Heinz Kurth (1922 – 1986). Heinrich Gottfried Kurth was a graphic designer, poster designer and illustrator who worked as a freelance commercial artist in the UK during the 1950’s and later.
