Original German 23 inch x 33 inch Poster for the 1973 George Roy Hill Crime Comedy THE STING starring Paul Newman, Robert Redford, Robert Shaw, Charles Durning, Ray Walston, Eileen Brennan, Harold Gould and Jack Kehoe.

Set in the 1930s this intricate caper deals with an ambitious small-time crook and a veteran con man who seek revenge on a vicious crime lord who murdered one of their gang.

Poster art by Lutz Peltzer (1925 – 2003). German artist Lutz Peltzer was born in Mannheim and with over 800 film posters to his name was one of the most productive film poster graphic artists in post-war Germany.

The poster is in very good folded condition.
