Original British 30 inch x 40 inch Quad Poster for the 1955 Henry Hathaway Car Racing Drama SUCH MEN ARE DANGEROUS (THE RACERS), based on the novel by Hans Ruesch and starring Kirk Douglas, Bella Darvi, Gilbert Roland, Cesar Romero, Lee J. Cobb, Katy Jurado, Charles Goldner and George Dolenz.
Douglas dashes around the picturesque roads of Europe in his quest to win the Monte Carlo Rally.
The poster artwork is by A. “Jock” W. Hinchliffe.
Hinchliffe was born in Perth, Scotland. In 1953 he had a studio in Chalk Farm, North London, where he produced a series of six oil paintings as publicity for 20th Century Fox’s “The Robe”. He had been engaged by Fox in 1926 and produced posters and ads continuously for them, and for Disney, well into the 1960s.

The poster is in good folded condition with a piece out of the lower left corner where there is also a 6 inch tear and tape stain. There are a few brown spots upper middle.
