Original British 30 inch x 40 inch Quad Poster for the 1980 Richard Lester Adventure SUPERMAN II starring Gene Hackman, Christopher Reeve, Margot Kidder, Terence Stamp, Ned Beatty, Jackie Cooper, Sarah Douglas, Jack O’Halloran, Susannah York, Valerie Perrine, Clifton James, E.G. Marshall and Richard Griffiths.

Superman (Reeve) foils the plot of terrorists by hurtling their nuclear device into outer space, but the bomb’s shock waves free the Kryptonian villain General Zod (Stamp) and his henchmen Ursa (Douglas) and Non (O’Halloran) from their imprisonment. Traveling to Earth, they threaten the planet with destruction at the same time that Superman decides to renounce his superpowers in order to live a normal life as Clark Kent with his new love, Lois Lane (Kidder).

The poster is in good folded condition with a long tear at the top and minor edge nicks.
