Original British 11 inch x 8 1/2 inch Trade Advertisement from Kinematograph Weekly for the 1958 Stuart Burge Comedy THERE WAS A CROOKED MAN, based on the play by James Bridie and starring Norman Wisdom, Alfred Marks, Andrew Cruickshank, Reginald Beckwith, Susannah York and Jean Clarke.

When a law-abiding demolition expert is duped by a gang of criminals into helping them he is caught and jailed. When he is released he notices a leading citizen in his town is cheating his neighbours.
