Original British 30 inch x 40 inch Quad Poster for the 1972 Michael Apted Drama THE TRIPLE ECHO, based on the novel by H.E. Bates and starring Oliver Reed, Glenda Jackson, Brian Deacon and Kenneth Colley.
When a young soldier (Deacon) deserts his outfit and hides in a remote farm, the farm owner (Jackson) and he fall in love. But their idyll is shattered by the arrival of a boorish, violent army sergeant (Reed) searching for his AWOL recruit.
Poster art by Maciek Piotrowski (1907 – 1992). Born in Tyczyn, Galicia, Austria-Hungary (now Tyczyn, Podkarpackie, Poland). Sketch artist for various films including ‘The Fall of the Roman Empire’, ‘Doctor Zhivago’, ‘El Cid’, ‘Bequest to the Nation’, ‘The Bounty’, ‘King David’ and ‘A View to a Kill’.
