Original German 23 inch x 33 inch Poster for the 1962 Alvin Rakoff Thriller WORLD IN MY POCKET (AN EINEM FREITAG UM HALB ZWOLF), based on the novel by James Hadley Chase and starring Rod Steiger, Nadja Tiller, Peter Van Eyck, Ian Bannen and Jean Servais.

Unplanned events foil a scheme involving the heist of a U.S. Army payroll in France.

Poster art Ernst Herbert Adolf Litter (1918 – 2006). Born in Berlin, Litter was a German painter and graphic artist. His most famous works were created in the 1940s to 1960s. With around 600 designed film posters, he is considered one of the most productive poster graphic artists of his time. He began an apprenticeship as a printer in 1933 and attended the Berlin School of Applied Arts, where he was a student of Jupp Wiertz. In 1946 he began to create posters, advertisements and catalogues for Schorcht-Film. He has worked for various film companies including Herzog Film, Gloriafilm, Berliner Union-Film, Columbia Pictures, Constantin Film, Prisma Film and Atlas Film.

The poster is in very good folded condition with a 1 inch tear at the top edge.
