Original 16 1/2 inch x 22 3/4 inch Engraving titled THE ARREST.
From the picture by Carl Johann Lasch (1822 – 1888). A German artist of historical paintings. He was born in Leipzig. He attended the Dresden Academy of Fine Arts. One of his teachers was Eduard Bendemann. He later attended the Academy of Fine Arts, Munich. There he studied under Julius Schnorr von Carolsfeld and Wilhelm von Kaulbach.

The engraving is in very good condition with one vertical fold, a crease in the left border and a nick in the bottom edge.
