Screenplay by Frank Launder, Leslie Gilliat and Val Valentine, inspired by ‘the awful schoolgirls’ of Ronald Searle. Starring Alastair Sim (in the dual roles of Headmistress Fritton and her bookmaker brother, Clarence), with Joyce Grenfell, George Cole, Hermione Baddeley and Betty Ann Davies and Beryl Reid.
The portrait is in very good condition with a nick in the bottom right corner and minor surface marks.
