Original British 11 inch x 8 1/2 inch Trade Advertisement from Kinematograph Weekly for the 1947 Louis King Drama BOB, SON OF BATTLE, based on the novel by Alfred Ollivant and starring Lon McCallister, Peggy Ann Garner and Edmund Gwenn.

A story of the Scottish highlands about a crotchety old shepherd, Adam MacAdam (Gwenn),who loves his prize collie dog, but little else, not even his son Davis (McAllister). But David, with the help of a neighbour’s daughter, Maggie Moore (Garner), raises his own prize dog and beats his father in a contest.
