Original 10 inch x 8 inch Black and White Still of WILLIAM HARTNELL, VIRGINIA WINTER & REGINALD PURDELL in the classic 1947 John Boulting Crime Drama BRIGHTON ROCK, based on the novel by Graham Greene.
Late 1930s Brighton is run by vicious gangs, one of which is led by the teenage Pinkie Brown. After killing a man at the fairground, he tries to establish a watertight alibi – even if it means marrying a potential witness to prevent her giving evidence against him.
The still is in very good condition with a soft crease at the upper left corner and a brief synopsis tacked to the reverse.
