Original 10 inch x 7 3/4 inch Portrait of RACHEL KEMPSON in the 1946 Basil Dearden Ealing Studios Prisoner-of-War Film THE CAPTIVE HEART, based on an original story by Patrick Kirwan.
A series of stories about the lives and loves of nine men in a Prisoner of War Camp over five years.
The portrait is in very good condition. The portrait has been removed from a key book and some of the surface paper on the reverse of the portrait, at the top, has come away. This shows as very minor wrinkling and doesn’t really effect the overall image.
