Original French 47 inch x 63 inch Film Poster for the 1960 Sidney Hayers Horror Movie CIRCUS OF HORRORS starring Anton Diffring, Yvonne Monlaur, Donald Pleasence, Erika Remberg, Jane Hylton, Kenneth Griffith, Conrad Phillips, Jack Gwillim, Vanda Hudson, Yvonne Romain and William Mervyn.
A plastic surgeon and his nurse join a bizarre circus to escape from the police. Here he befriends deformed women and transforms them for his “Temple of Beauty”. However, when they threaten to leave, they meet with mysterious accidents.

Gilbert Allard, often cited as Georges Allard, was a poster designer active in France from the late 1940s to the late 1960s. He is the author of more than 80 posters for films distributed in France; his posters are signed G. ALLARD. He produced posters for the advertising agency Jacques Fourastié
The poster is in good folded condition with some fold separation resulting in minor paper loss, and small holes at some cross folds. There is also a tear across one fold line.
