DESERT SONG

Original Belgian 21 3/4 inch x 14 1/4 inch Poster for the 1953 H. Bruce Humberstone Musical DESERT SONG, based on the play by Laurence Schwab and starring Kathryn Grayson, Gordon MacRae, Steve Cochran, Raymond Massey, Dick Wesson, Allyn McLerie and William Conrad.

Poster art by Guy Gerard Noel (!912 – 1994). A French cinema poster designer of all genres, lithographer and painter. He produced several posters for Hammer films including “Dracula”, “The Mummy”, “Curse of the Werewolf” and many others, often making more than one design for each film. He also produced posters for the singers and musicians of the firm Pathé-Marconi.

The poster is in good folded condition with pieces cut out of the top border.
