Original British 17 inch x 11 inch Trade Advertisement for the 1940 Ernest Schoedsack Sci-Fi Fantasy DR CYCLOPS starring Albert Dekker, Thomas Coley, Janice Logan, Charles Halton, Victor Kilian and Frank Yaconelli.
Dr. Cyclops is noteworthy for having been directed by Ernest B. Schoedsack of King Kong fame and being the first U.S. science fiction film made in Technicolor.
The Advert is in very good condition.
Trade advertisements are colourful posters aimed at cinema managers, which were either slipped in, or part of, the weekly film trade journals which were available to them by subscription but were not sold to the general public. Most were designed to be pulled out. Most have the date in tiny letters in one of the top corners.
