Original Polish 23 inch x 33 inch Poster for the 1968 Andrzej Wajda EVERYTHING FOR SALE (WSZYSTKO NA SPRZEDAZ) starring Beata Tyszkiewicz, Elzbieta Czyzewska, Daniel Olbrychski, Andrzej Lapicki, Witold Holtz, Malgorzata Potocka, Bogumil Kobiela, Elzbieta Kepinska, Irena Laskowska, Tadeusz Kalinowski and Wieslaw Dymny.
The film told the story of actor Zbygniew Cybulski, who died in an accident in 1967. Iit is a film about a film, a film about a friend who died a tragic accidental death, about a marriage that went on the rocks, and a love that was never fulfilled, about death and oblivion.
Poster art by Franciszek Starowieyski (1930 – 2009).
Franciszek Starowieyski was a painter, illustrator, printmaker, poster artist, theatre and TV set designer dividing his time between the ateliers of Warsaw and Paris, making some 300 posters and earning the name of one of the finest representatives of the Polish school of posters.
The poster is in very good unfolded condition with a 3 inch slightly jagged tear at the bottom right and a tiny piece out of the top right corner.
