Original 1953 Polish 23 inch x 33 inch Poster for the Polish Production Company FILM POLSKI.

Poster art by Waldemar Swierzy (1931 – 2013). Born in Katowice, Poland, Swierzy graduated from the Kraków Academy of Fine Arts in 1952. He was subsequently Professor in the University of Fine Arts in Poznan from 1965 and Professor in the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw from 1994. Swierzy is one of the Polish School of Posters’ most prolific artists, having created over 2500 posters.

The poster is in very good condition with a small piece out of the top edge, corner pinholes and minor crinkling at the bottom right. Although folded it has been laid flat for several years so will be shipped rolled.
