Original 10 3/4 inch x 8 1/2 inch Still of ARNE SUCKSDORFF preparing a shot for his 1957 Swedish Documentary Drama THE FLUTE AND THE ARROW (En djungelsaga) starring Chendru, Ginjo, Riga and Tengru-Shikari.

Set deep in the jungles of the central Indian subcontinent, Sucksdorff’s seductive fable of a film, shot in eye-popping Eastmancolor and widescreen Agascope, concerns the impact of forays by an aggressive leopard on a group of peaceable Muria tribesmen, including a hunter and his cousin.

The still, on doubleweight paper, is in very good condition with a nick in the top edge.
