Original 10 inch x 8 inch Black and White Still of HUGH GRIFFITH, JIMMY HANLEY & BASIL RADFORD in the 1951 Henry Cornelius Comedy THE GALLOPING MAJOR, based on a story by Basil Radford.
A local community club together to buy a racehorse, but they are sold the wrong animal, and find it’s a hopeless runner.
The still is attributed to Harold Hanscomb. His stamp is on the reverse of several stills from this film.
The still is in very good condition with a synopsis and credit list taped to the reverse.
