GENTLE GUNMAN
£160.00
Original 10 inch x 8 inch Portrait of ELIZABETH SELLARS in the 1952 Basil Dearden Ealing Studios Drama THE GENTLE GUNMAN, written by Roger Macdougall.
Text attached to reverse: For those not-so-bright days, Elizabeth Sellars teams her dark skirt with a gay red poplin blouse by Glen Moor Sports. Those full sleeves with the unusual shoulder line are tied just below the elbow. The three pairs of buttons are shiny black boot-buttons.
ELIZABETH SELLARS has one of her most important film parts to date in “The Gentle Gunman” as the Irish patriot who loves two men but loses both. Born in Glasgow, she made her debut in “Floodtide” and has recently scored a success in “Hunted”.
”The Gentle Gunman” is the story of two brothers whose lives are influenced by love for their country and for the same girl.
The portrait is in very good condition with minor surface marks and a brief synopsis tacked to the reverse.
