Original Russian 24 1/4 inch x 38 3/4 inch Poster for the 1958 Nikola Tanhofer Yugoslav Drama H-8 starring Boris Buzancic, Ðurda Ivezic, Antun Vrdoljak, Vanja Drach, Stane Sever, Marija Kohn, Mira Nikolic, Mia Oremovic, Marijan Lovric, Fabijan Šovagovic, Pero Kvrgic, Ljubica Jovic, Rudolf Kukic, Andro Lušicic, Siniša Knaflec, Ivan Subic, Milan Orlovic, Antun Nalis, Krunoslava Ebric-Frlic, Stjepan Jurcevic, Pavle Bogdanovic, Drago Mitrovic, Martin Matoševic, Nedim Omerbegovic, Nela Eržišnik, Marija Aleksic, Sandra Fiderseg, Rudolf Sremec, Ivan Hetrich, Stjepan Jakševac, Dobrila Berkovic, Josip Presl, Rikard Brzeska, Kruno Valentic, Adam Vedernjak and Slavica Fila.

This was Tanhofer’s directorial debut and he based his film on a real-life event, in which the driver that caused a fatal 1957 bus-truck collision was never identified. “H-8” is the beginning of that driver’s license plate, the only available information on the culprit’s vehicle.
