Original Russian 19 1/4 inch x 26 1/4 inch Poster for the 1966 Mark Donskoy Drama HEART OF A MOTHER (SERDTSE MATERI) starring Yelena Fadeyeva as Mariya Aleksandrovna Ulyanova (Lenin’s mother, Daniil Sagal as Ilya Nikolayevich Ulyanov (Lenin’s father) and Rodion Nahapetov as Vladimir Ilich Lenin.

Background is the Peter and Paul Fortress, the original citadel of St. Petersburg, Russia, founded by Peter the Great in 1703 and built to Domenico Trezzini’s designs from 1706-1740.
