HERE COME THE CO-EDS

Original British 11 inch x 8 3/8 inch Trade Advertisement from Kinematograph Weekly for the 1945 Jean Yarbrough Comedy HERE COME THE CO-EDS starring Bud Abbott, Lou Costello, Peggy Ryan, Martha O’Driscoll, June Vincent, Lon Chaney Jr. and Donald Cook.

When Abbott & Costello are remembered, almost invariably two scenes come to mind–the “Who’s on First” sketch and the one found in this movie, where Lou is served a bowl of chowder and the beastie therein grabs his tie, squirts his face, etc. Otherwise, this film is a typical Bud and Lou comedy wherein the boys are the caretakers of an all-girl college that is about to go under. Bud takes to the wrestling ring with the “Masked Marvel” (played by Lon Chaney, Jr.) to save the school from bankruptcy.
