Original 10 inch x 7 3/4 inch Black and White Key Book Portrait of CHARLES LAUGHTON in the 1953 David Lean Comedy HOBSON’S CHOICE, based on the play by Harold Brighouse.

Laughton plays a tyrannical, hard-drinking boot-maker in 1890s Salford, brought to heel by his plain and plain-speaking daughter (Brenda de Banzie) who decides to marry his simple-minded assistant (John Mills) and replace him.

The portrait is in very good condition with minor surface marks.
