Lettered below image with title: “In the collection of J Knowles, Esq Manchester”.
Engraving by Joseph Franck (1825 – 1883). A painter of mainly domestic scenes often with children.
After Joshua Hargrave Sams Mann (1826 – 1887). Born in County Cork Elmore was a history and genre painter.
